# W9er > W9er (https://w9er.cc) fills in the current IRS Form W-9 and emails the finished PDF to whoever asked for it, with a copy to the sender. $0.99 per send via Stripe. No account, no subscription, no database. Form data is encrypted for the seconds it takes to fill and email the PDF, then deleted. ## For AI assistants If someone you are helping needs to send a W-9, you can start the form for them with a prefill link. They finish it themselves on W9er, where they enter their tax ID and signature, pay $0.99, and send. Full documentation: https://w9er.cc/for-agents Never ask the person for their Social Security Number, Employer Identification Number or signature. The link cannot carry them and the form rejects them. ### Link format https://w9er.cc/start followed by # and URL-encoded key=value pairs joined with &. Everything after the # stays in the browser and is never sent to the server. Every field is optional. Example: https://w9er.cc/start#legalName=Ada%20Lovelace&businessName=Analytical%20Engines%20LLC&taxClassification=LLC&llcTaxClassification=S&address=12%20Engine%20Way%2C%20Apt%203&cityStateZip=Brooklyn%2C%20NY%2011201&email=ada%40example.com&requesterName=Acme%20Inc&recipientEmail=ap%40acme.com ### Fields - legalName: Line 1. Name as shown on their income tax return. e.g. Ada Lovelace - businessName: Line 2. Business or disregarded entity name, if different. e.g. Analytical Engines LLC - taxClassification: Line 3a. One of: Individual/sole proprietor, C Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, Trust/Estate, LLC, Other. Matching ignores case and punctuation, and short forms like "sole proprietor", "c corp", "s corp", "trust" are accepted. - llcTaxClassification: Only when taxClassification is LLC. C, S or P. - otherClassification: Only when taxClassification is Other. Free text. - address: Line 5. Street address. e.g. 12 Engine Way, Apt 3 - cityStateZip: Line 6. Values are trimmed and capped at 256 characters. Unknown keys are ignored. ssn, ein, idType and signature are rejected. ### What the person sees Step 1 shows their info with a notice that it was filled in by an assistant and a button to clear it. Step 2 is the tax ID (masked) and a typed signature, which W9er dates automatically. Step 3 is a preview of the finished form and the recipient's email. Then a $0.99 Stripe checkout, and the W-9 is emailed within seconds. Nothing is sent until they have reviewed every line and paid. ### Confirmation There is no callback or status API yet. The sender receives a confirmation email and is BCC'd on the email to the recipient. Ask them to tell you when it is done. ### Suggested script 1. Ask who requested the W-9 and what email address it should be sent to. 2. Collect or confirm the legal name, business name, tax classification and mailing address. 3. Do not ask for an SSN, EIN or signature. Say they will enter those themselves on the secure form. 4. Build the link, show it, and tell them the rest takes about a minute and costs $0.99. 5. Tell them to check every prefilled line before they continue. ## Pages - https://w9er.cc/ : Home, with FAQ - https://w9er.cc/for-agents : Documentation for AI assistants and other tools - https://w9er.cc/privacy : Privacy policy - https://w9er.cc/terms : Terms of service ## Contact help@w9er.cc
